Novice hunter in SW Wa. iso hunting partners/mentors
« on: May 10, 2023, 06:47:24 PM »
Hello everyone, new to the forum, new-ish to the area and still have lots to learn hunting.
I'm 40 yrs old (better late than never), living in Vancouver, wasnt raised hunting but have been on a few trips... spent many years trying to improve in my shooting (I'm an archery guy but open to rifle season too) knowledge of geography, animal behavior and various navigation skills.
Finally finding equilibrium after moving to the area in the beginning of covid and struggling to find solid work.
Hoping to connect with folks in the area to get out with, do some scouting in the summer and log as many days as possible in the fall & winter.
Interested in Elk, deer, bear, just about mammal that's edible.
Hoping to stock the freezer more than trophy hunt. Feel free to reach out if you're interested.
Let's hit the trail.
