Genetics or injury?
« on: May 17, 2023, 09:01:06 AM »
Checked winter camera. Had this nice blacktail come in 3 days after I put out some scent and he showed up 2 days in a row during the day. Just wondering if he will always be a 2 point on his one side or just a 1 year deal. Just food for thought.

Looks like an injury to me.  :dunno: Not just a genetic 2 point, the antler actually grew funny.
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Sweet buck though. Looks like he wants to crab claw. Maybe next year he will.

3rd set?  Would like to get a good look at his right rear leg for an old injury but would guess this is his pattern for life.  Neat BT

Shot this buck few years ago. 2x4 with a couple kickers on the 2pt side.

Could be an injury but it looks like more of a genetic thing to me.

Put your trail camera on video next time out.  See if he walks with a limp.
