You won’t have a problem finding elk, I was there last year in late elk hunt. It’s crazy the amount elk there. When people say every basin has elk it literally does.

Got a call last night and found out my hunting partners daughter drew Utah rifle elk. I would tag along on the hunt but they are going to hike 8 miles in. Not to sure if I want to travel to Utah and pack elk meat out on my back for 8 miles!!!  20 years ago maybe. not now.  They are pumped!
