New location new elk
« on: July 17, 2023, 11:25:03 AM »
Question for all you seasoned camera guys.

Recently pulled my 3 cameras from an area I knew held deer and elk. One spot I was really confident I’d get some video the other two I was using more or less to eliminate them as possible routes they’re taking.

Since these are Roosevelt and have smaller herds and I’m assuming aren’t traveling. Would you just keep the camera up that’s getting hit (248 times in 2and a half to 3 months.) and then put the other two up in a close proximity to try and pin point location of entry/exit. Or save the two and set them up in entirely new areas and just try and confirm locations that they like so when they get bumped I have other areas I know hold elk? Mind you this is all plus or minus a 2ish mile radius

Pics for attention
