This goes along with with Rowland attempt to end beaver trapping in this state. Something like 90% of beaver translocated by the WDFW were killed by cougars.

I too am suspicious of the Methow Beaver Project but how is this certification not a good thing for WCOs ?  West-side WCOs already have some customers who would pay extra for beaver to be relocated.

I've found that 2800 fps helps relocate them better!!

  You are probably right about them but, again, how is getting certified to transport and relocate beaver a bad thing ?

Me personally will not help with this as they are ( beavers northwest and the the methow beaver project are lead by the very same people that has harassed our fellow trappers in Winthrop and are pushing to make it illegal to trap them on public SOOOOO they can kick rocks wearing flip flops

Ending beaver trapping is definitely on their agenda.

I would encourage trappers to relocate beavers to streams inside the city limits of liberal city’s and developments near Seattle. When they start using the poles holding up their internet connections to make a dam we can all step in and remind them not to interfere with wild animals in their habitat

Didn't the department or should I say in the WCO classes that you are supposed to "KILL Everything"
Now they want us to "Save Them"
