This is different then the master hunter incentive tags. Besides it and the general reporting I don't know how many programs they have going (but would be nice to know).
I didn't even know the early reporting incentive permit existed or how rare they were until discussing with buddies this past weekend. Per the pamphlet: "The nine special permits include two any elk permits for western Washington, two any elk permits for eastern Washington, and five statewide any deer permits."
Anyway, if anyone has some gouge to pass on happy to listen. My dad is 73 so access and getting around isn't what it used to be for him but hoping we can put him on a masher buck sometime this year.
We've always hunting in the NW corner so looking for intel outside the 407/418/437 GMU's. Starting to review quality buck special permit areas and results for the last few years in addition to Gohunt filtered results. If anyone has any other suggestions or unit input I'm open ears.
