Help with Peach Ridge Elk Hunt?
« on: June 14, 2023, 04:28:46 PM »
Hello
Hope you all are as excited as I am!  Just moved up a few years ago from CA, and am doing my second year of elk hunting this fall.  I learned a lot from this forum in the off-season, and just got an email from fish and game that says I get to hunt elk at Peach Ridge this fall during mating season.  I won’t have a lot of time to scout between now and hunting time, I might get over there for an afternoon.  Not looking for any honey holes, just want to start figuring out where to go.  Haven’t spent much time in eastern WA area, so just trying to find out as much as I can.  Good luck everyone!

Congrats on the tag. Lots of elk over there. Lots of hunters also but you have that everywhere. If you don’t have a ton of time to scout stay out late the night before and listen for bugles. Go there first thing the next morning and have fun.

Good luck out there.

You should feel bad. We are trying to provide a friendly forum and you are baiting and instigating others to behave badly. Thread is locked. Sorry I gave you the benefit of being a newbie. Glad I just deleted the remarks you baited members into making rather than handing out warnings to them. Please don’t do this again.
