 There was a herd of elk bedded down in my yard this morning, Two bulls. My question, Do they get the hunting seasons and regs on-line or at the sporting goods store? :dunno: :chuckle:

The ones with the collars or ear tags get a direct feed from F&W.

Bruce, you have lived long enough that you should already know this.

Elk have infiltrated this website.  They know that you are laid up with an injury.  This is PsyOps.  They are trying to get in your mind.

They definitely know.
Hunted one spot this year,there the day before the opening.
Not one track or elk the entire season,then during late buck here,fresh tracks.
They know when to hold um ,know when to fold um.

Not just the elk, the mule deer bucks started showing up about 2 days after the modern closure. Got a couple of nice 4x4s hanging around the yard now like tame puppies and have seen several others just casually feeding nearby.
