I want to take my bird dogs, omg the birds! everywhere!

Thought I had an opportunity so I took my dogs and got the “Hawaii” package of shots and micro chips, you can skip the quarantine period with a little leg work now

There’s an issue with import of a firearm to Hawaii and registration

I would archery deer and goat though

Good information!

“Turo” a car sharing app, can get you a hunting rig with roof top tent, coolers and some camping things

A friend of mine called and said his brother lives on a farm on one of the islands and has deer all over. So, we shall see if that make this a whole lot easier.

I’m not sure if you’re referring to covid related travel limitations in Hawaii, but if that’s what you’re talking about, there are no restrictions at all regardless of any vax status.
I’m pretty sure you have to have any firearms you bring in registered with the local police agency.

Do the axis deer hunt. We had access to a private ranch through a friend. There were tons of deer and no tags just a hunting license required where we went. We got quite a few. Flew the meat back frozen and boned in coolers. It was excellent. The gun rules are weird I would check that out. It can be easier to borrow one in Hawaii if you can. There’s lots of guides if you have to go that route but I would jump on the private offer. I went pig and sheep hunting on a different trip. That was guided
