That is a mature cat for sure. Going to see more and more of this. That’s why season should be open year-round. Then we could just shoot them and put them in our freezer. Instead of them having to come out and shoot them and throw them in the landfill.

Per FB group I was told that that cougar was shot around 10:30pm near clearcreek rd in silverdale.

Here's a photo I got of one in my driveway the same night in Port Orchard near bremerton airport.

I’m surprised this state doesn’t cage trap them as they’re easy to catch way easier then bears and that’s there first choice with them

Pretty sure this one was shot with a rifle, not darted. It had been linked to more than a dozen domestic animal deaths.
