First litter for my Josie.  Lots of fun so far and she’s an excellent momma!

Our lab just had her second litter.  We thought she was a good mama with the first one, but she's even better this time around.  9 healthy little pups, and the kids are having a blast playing with them!

We started with 10.  Lost one last night.  Wife was pretty upset, but it’s just something that happens.  Her diet has been a challenge since half way through the pregnancy.  Changed food twice and now she’s on a special diet.   Cooked duck breast, rice, carrots, beans, chicken or beef broth, and milk replacement are all part of her diet now.  Thankfully my wife is all in on this otherwise it wouldn’t get done!

What I can't believe is how fast these tiny little pups turn into full grown dogs.  One of the people who bought a pup last summer just sent me a picture of her now.  Crazy how tiny they are, and how big they'll be next year!

We had eating issues with both litters of our middle girl. It was always very challenging getting her to eat well.
