Thanks CP.   I used to hammer the chums at point no point.  Do the pinks ever rally there?

We’re up here with the kids right now. Drove out to the lighthouse earlier, they’re rolling like crazy and saw lots of fish being hauled up the beach. Probably should have brought some gear

They get them off the beach at Kayak park as well but I think it's closed for upgrades.

Hot pink bite this weekend in 9. I'd say it's peaking right about now for the next week. Few nice coho coming in too. Creel reports out of 8-2 this weekend was about 1.5 fish per angler. Loaded with boats and salmon!

432 anglers, 632 pinks. 399 anglers 611 pinks.

Some of the bucks this year are huge.  I've caught a few that I thought were chinooks until I landed them.  Those get released, I've found that they aren't great table fare.

We limited 2 guys in 20 minutes and lost two in the process.  We hooked one on the drop down and another one with it just sitting on the surface while we were netting another one.

These on bagels are going to be an excellent deer camp breakfast in November.

Nicely done!

Are they making their way up the Skagit yet?
What country can preserve it's liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon & pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants.

Fish are in the skagit but the river looks like a mocha shake with glacial melt from the heat.

Plunking sand shrimp with a flashy pink wing bobber.

Anybody have any experience chasing them south of Tacoma around the Nisqually mouth. Been out fishing kings and haven't seen any sign of them. Supposed to be quite a few this year.

I was down there friday and didn’t see any pinks.

I would go to them and not wait. Sure they will show, but strike while the iron is hot. Area 9/10 is hot right now.
