Amazing how the WDFW can't get a website and the servers to handle what maybe 3-5000 people trying to log into buy multi? Idaho has 150K try and log in on one morning... Glad i got mine but it was a *censored* show. Went into a dealer and even their computer took 30 min to buy it for one person...

Eight or so years ago (perhaps even more recent than that) I could go buy one days or weeks after they allowed the undrawn applicants to buy and I'd get one every time. Things have changed. I think social media has driven hunting to a contest of kills rather than the experience. Shame if you aske me.

I just don’t believe they sold almost 2,500 surplus multiseason deer tags in one day.

It surprises me too. Just imagine what it would be like if there were some deer to hunt.
I beg to dream and differ from the hollow lies

In November U.S. manufacturing contracted for the the ninth consecutive month. Layoffs across the economy are higher than anytime since the pandemic in 2020 and I just read that the Midwest farmers will be receiving a 12B bailout due to 50 year trade relationships being destroyed. I have to admit that I was a sceptic and didn't believe in the effectiveness in tariffs but I'm a believer now.

I do, have you ever been involved with any of the out of state "first come, first served" tags...... hours... if not minutes and they are gone

I'm happy they made it a "first come first serve".  Not allowing full benefit of the tag to as many hunters as possible last year was disappointing.  Not sure how it can be improved on with as many applicants as there were.  Can't make everyone a winner.

Mail it to WDFW in Olympia.  When leftover were bought online you had to check a box to either turn into vender or mail it in.  Not too complicated.

They had the option to mail your tag in, I put mine in the mail last Friday and had to mail it to Olympia, when I called they said you can turn it into your local office as well.  I’m going to be pretty annoyed if I don’t have my tag next week but normally I get them in a few days and it shows mine was printed 8/17 so hoping they got them in the mail 8/18

ok correct me if im wrong i was assuming that they are sending the tag in the mail like all others you buy online. and than when i receive my tag i will send my other tag back in via mail. With a note saying what I'm doing with dates ect. kind like when you turn in a special permit. Am I waiting on nothing, do I have to go to the dealer to get my already purchased tag?.

i did the option to mail in my tag but I don't trust that I would get my tag in time so I'm not giving up my tag till i have the other one. nor should I have to. I don't feel I'm breaking any laws innless i have to tags in my pocket.

It said you had 5 days to mail it or surrender to a vendor, so you may want to do that. On the other hand WDFW said they already started sending them out when I called on the 21st after having issues with sportsmans returning it.

Trying to figure out if that's business days or calendar days.   Will be mailing mine today.
