With that tag can you hunt whitetail in units 1-6 just mulies in unit 1

Both just different times  one season is longer I think

You can only hunt unit 1
Whitetail from October 10-Dec. 1
Mule deer from November 1-14

The elk tag up there is for all the units in the panhandle but the nonresident deer tags can only be purchased on a unit by unit basis. It used to work for any unit just like for residents but that stopped several years ago.
