My wife went looking for the wedding ring and found it, some how it was about 20 feet from where they thought it was, but she found it and plans to put it on a plate with a piece of strawberry short cake tonight after dinner as a surprise.

I just got a text that the grandson got his first elk, he was watching a 6x6 bull but the cows had the bull surrounded, he couldn't get a clear shot, then a 5x2 (broken horn) walked out so he shot it instead, he said it's his first elk ever, the broken horn didn't matter. His dad and grandpa are each hunting different ridges as I advised them to split up. So Gunnar took care of the elk himself, packed it all out to the truck himself, and came back to the lodge, my wife is helping him hang quarters right now and then he's going back up the mountain to get his dad and grandpa where they were parked.

They sure had a rough start to their hunt, but its kinda coming together!
I'll update this post with photos when I get them.

There's a lot more to being an outfitter than just finding something to shoot. Sounds like you take fantastic care of your clients!

This morning Bobby from Nevada hunting with Guide Russell notched his deer tag and another lady hunter tagged her Idaho buck this morning with guide Daniel. I love it when a plan comes together! We have four lady hunters in camp this week, one to go and they will all have their deer.

Curtis and his son Caleb traveled from Minnesota to hunt antelope on our Montana ranch. They endured significant snow and very cold weather. Congrats on two great bucks, Curtis with his 16” and Caleb with his 15” bucks!
