Anyone else on here get drawn for the late November muzzy cow tag and get their papers for what unit that they can hunt.

sadley i am tagging along as well lol, my wife drew the tag and when it comes around shes going to be 6 1/2 to 7 months pregnant and she got picked for the biggest unit so im gonna be the pack mule lol, with it only being her third year putting in for anything she has drawn 2 multi season deer permits, a doe tag, this washington cow tag and a oregon cow tag lol. i told her she needs to buy a lottery ticketwith her luck.

Lol got rid of facebook,, best thing I ever did. It's gonna be an exciting year, got some tags the fill the only one I think is gonna be tough is my dad's cowiche muzzle cow tag, seems like the areas we used to kill elk in aren't holding animals like they used to And my old can't hike like he was able to 10 or so years ago and with that this will more then likely be his last elk he hunts for, I was actually gonna pick your brain on what you think would be the best for him to look over

That tag is one of the easier access places, but for the one you describe you need to be able to walk probably 4-6 miles a day. 

You should be able to walk the majority of it on a two track and get into the general area they frequent.  Game carts would be an easy way to do it in 1-2 trips depending on the cart.

Then again, I met a guy hunting it about 7 years ago and he shot one next to the truck in the parking lot on his way out one day.

oh im sure we can do that hiking pretty easy. Turkey hunting that area im used to the terrain. For the late hunt are we hoping for snow to push animals around more? I know some years are warmer then others and not always gonna have snow.

Season was early/mid November.  There was a small herd within the unit opening morning.  Another hunter got into them and got one cow.  I hunted hard the next two days gave the unit a break and hit the last two days of the season and only saw bulls.  Once that herd knew there was pressure they weren't in the huntable area during daylight after the first day.  On the last day of the hunt I found a small herd, but they had crossed over to private just before shooting light.  If there is a general season going on at the same time as your wife's hunt then that should push the elk around more, but if not then they will likely seek refuge on private and avoid the hunted areas.  I'm in the area and would be willing to help pack out an animal (timing dependent of course).  But if you want help packing post it up here and I bet you'll get some help.

from the looks of it there is going to be a late any elk tag Nov 25th thru December 8th up there so there should be some elk pushed around hopefully. Makes me want to take my muzzle in case she shoots one early and go and hunt the areas I turkey hunt in lol

Nice. 

My wife and I went to Turnbull for the first time a couple weeks ago. 

Saw a her of 50ish elk. 

Also saw a cow Moose with 2 calves. 
That was fun.

Yeah. That’s the southwest unit.
