No more online ammo sales?
« on: August 06, 2023, 12:08:19 AM »
Not sure if I’ve been under a rock lately, but can you no longer purchase ammo online and have it shipped to WA? I know I’ve purchase ammo online within the past 4 months, but the last two sites I’ve gone to won’t ship to WA. What did I miss or did another new law go into effect?

There is no WA State law that prevents ammo being shipped to WA. Was curious, so I googled it. SOME businesses have decided to NOT ship here.......not limited to ammo. Possible reasons being confusion (about WA legislation), laziness and a company deciding to punish buyers in states that have enacted restrictive legislation. Checked www.natchezss.com and it seems like ammo shipments to some states have to go to an FFL.

Up to each individual seller to set their own policy- But no law against it here in WA, yet. Ferguson does plan to ban online sales to this state Asap.

SGAmmo in July and Velocity shipped to me this month.

Thanks everyone, I didn't remember this being a thing which is why I was so confused. I'll keep looking at other vendors.

Psa is still Shipping.

Not on FN 5.7 ammo, that's where I tried with a few other places. 9mm they were ok with, not sure why so I'll reach out to them.

Rogers Sporting Goods is still shipping to this state.  I bet the anti-gun democrats will put an end to on-line guns, parts and ammo sales in the next few years.  Also charge big taxes and require insurance on firearms at some point.

Which companies wouldn't ship here? First I have heard of it, lots of parts restrictions but haven't experienced ammo.

Weird update, PSA shipped me 9mm ammo, but wouldn’t ship FN 5.7x28, thought that was odd

That is interesting.  I got 400 rounds of 5.7x28  from them in June or July can't remember.
