AZ Anti-hound legislation
« on: January 11, 2025, 08:40:48 PM »
I'm not a hound hunter but love my dogs for birds and tracking.   Would hate to see this attack on hunting gain traction.   Hopefully we can band together to defeat and get some support  through HOWL and other groups.

Posting more for awareness but Mods, move to advocacy or out of state if warranted.

Thanks,
HH

Wow, seems like they're going after one state at a time.

They have had huge success on the west coast which has emboldened them to take their agenda to other states. They are playing the long game, they will keep after it, no matter if they have a few losses along the way. We must help support every state in resisting their anti hunting agenda.
Americans are systematically advocating, legislating, and voting away each others rights. Support all user groups & quit losing opportunity!

Same thing as the concrete dwelling leaders of our State. “Every vote I need can be seen from the Space Needle”.
Toss out something for a vote to the people that you know will hit the concrete dwellers  right in the feels. Affects all while effecting the few who did not have the numbers to fight it.
Science and the F&W should be in control of this. Not the people at large that are ignorant of the benefits of using that tool.

Thanks for posting, its a never ending battle. AZ being a swing state, and people fleeing California to other states does not help our numbers. I wish sportsman could band together as well as the anti's. I would like to see an organization like HOWL become as powerful as the humane society
