Recommended trail cams

I lost a couple to bears this spring and want to add a couple locations. Any suggestions on reasonable priced cams. I am looking to get 4-6 more. Thanks.

I’ve had nothing but great luck with the browning strike force cams. 7 strike force pros and 2 strike force something else(possibly strike force pro x)All between 3-7 years of 90% video mode use and still going strong. Lithium ion batteries and they’ll record video all winter long without issue. One year i had left a few out in the colockum for the winter and snow built up to almost level with the cam and got a couple videos of a snow bike and sled ripping right by it

I have a couple primos cams out I forgot the model but very reasonable price and they are very easy to use.

If your worried about bears and theft  I use cheap  ones most of mine are Tasco cost about 20$ ( or used too) and nice SD CARD and never worried in last ten years out of the 25 or so I run I have lost 1 too left and 2 to bears but after cam
, battery , and sd card it was about a $40 loss. I’d love to try some cells cams but I like the soaking period and going out to physically check them . I know my father in law got some off Amazon for fairly cheap and has had same experience

Get on campfire and buy some refurbished stealthcams.  I have been running them for years with no problems at all.  I think I had my first 1 go bad on me last year after 7 or 8 years and I don't know if it was a refurbished one or a new one.  And as for bears getting your cams, check out camlockboxes.  They are great and the make them for specific cams.  So whenever I am looking at cams I go to their website to see if they make a look box for the cams I am looking at.  If they do I buy the cams and then the lock box.

Only cams I spend money on these days are cell cams, if it’s not a cell cam I’m buying cheap cams. I have 6 of the wildview cams now and some are 3 years old now. Couple are left out year round and burried under snow and continue to keep working. Been impressed with them so far

Wild view cams have worked well for me.
I got one that is three years old, another I got this year.
Work very well for cheap cam.

I have used the Muddy, Stealth cam and Wildview
  All made by the same people and reasonably priced
   Places like Midway and Camofire run sales for 3 and 4 packs all the time

  If your gonna buy standard trail cams by them cheap. Now days the $40 cams will do more then a good enough job. I have had great luck with the wildgame innovations cheap one. Forget the model but they are about $45. You can find them for cheaper on camofire at times. Had 5 running last whitetail season through freezing temps, snow, crazy wind  and they held tough.
