Hey everyone, its Dane from The Conservation Coalition of Washington. Wanted to come on here with an important update about the Yakima WDFW commission meeting. It will be taking place at the Yakima convention center 10 n 8th ave 98901. This is a much smaller meeting due to the commissioner retreat. This will occur on Thursday and continue into Friday. If anyone can go to the retreat we really recommend it. Members of the public for some reason can not watch it via zoom and you can go in person to watch it. Commissioners could say some interesting stuff. On Friday, Willipa Bay Salmon management will be voted on, a briefing on Dungeness crab will occur and a land transaction will also occur. Only Saturday has public comment which you can do online over zoom or in person. If you cant speak up at the big October meeting I would speak up at this one and tell your friends about it. We're going to be hearing from a lot more hunters and I think a lot of people could sign up. if you need any help don't be afraid to reach out. Here is a link to the meeting.
