Wyoming 2023 (update Mule deer buck down)
« on: September 30, 2023, 05:00:09 PM »
My son drew deer and antelope tags this year in southwest Wyoming (no luck for me).  Hunted antelope today and was lucky enough to get this nice buck. I put him to bed last night and my son arrived later last night. Went out and he was 100 yards with his doe from the night before. Made a good stalk and everything was history after that. We will be going deer hunting on Monday so I’ll keep ya posted. Animal numbers are definitely down but the four different mule deer doe’s I saw today all had fawns so that is promising.

Congrats to the young man and good luck on the deer tag. You guys always seem to get decent animals, so I think he will be fine.

Great goat! Congratulations! Your son looks like he is 7ft tall like you?

Anything over 5’6” is 7’ tall to you, isn’t it?

Great goat. Congrats to your son.

My son Carl is a runt at 6’5”. I’m just shy of 6’8”.  But I’d don’t mess with him because I’m getting old!!!!

Carl shot this nice buck this morning. Numbers are down so we couldn’t be to picky plus he had to get back to college. This buck was with 5 other smaller bucks. 2 and 3/4 mile pack out in the rain!  I’m getting old for sure!

Your clan continues to pile up some really nice animals over the years.  That's a good looking buck.

Thanks for sharing.
