Grouse Opener firearm options
« on: September 14, 2023, 09:48:22 AM »
My buddy and I are pretty excited about the Grouse opener tomorrow even though it should be Sept 1st.  :dunno:
I am going to bring my 20 gauge but I am thinking about bringing my 22 revolver too. My thinking is I can't have my shotgun loaded in my rig but I certainly can keep my revolver loaded in my vehicle ready to go if we see some grouse off the road. I have a CPL so I carry my ccw loaded all the time everywhere where legal.
Anyways, have a great weekend guys! 253sg

Yeah bring both. If you can get a shot on them in flight with the shotgun great, but if they land on a branch I like using the 22 pistol. Just a little more fun that way.

And you can get a good rest off the door post with your Pistol.
