Drake waterproof Boonie leaks and I get charged for returing it!
« on: September 23, 2023, 07:09:01 PM »
I ordered and received a Drake waterproof boonie for chores and hunting.  Out of the box, I was not overly pleased when it says "Made in Sir Lanka" but that's the times we live in.  Today after work I went to feed the cows and of course it's raining so I put on my new waterproof boonie.  It leaks like a sieve around the stitching, so by the time I was off the tractor, ran is running down my face.  I filled out a return slip on line and will get a refund minus a handling fee.  So, I bought a waterproof boonie that leaks, and I'm the one who has to pay for shipping it back?

I guess it only identifies as waterproof.

Not happy with Drake at all.
You'll never get a Big'un if you keep shooting Little'un's.

I dropped the Drake crap brand after one try. Shell makes foe  nice mild and dry weather camo top.

Like you said, that's the world we live in unfortunately. Put a new Tight Spot quiver on my bow this summer. It had a terrible rattle coming from the hood of the quiver, couldn't seem to fix it. Contacted them and after a week of arguing back and forth they finally said, "well you can either take it apart and re-epoxy it yourself or ship it back to us and we'll do it". After trying unsuccessfully to fix it myself, I sent it back. $31 out of pocket to ship fed ex ground for a faulty product that I already paid way too much for to begin with

If you want to try something different I recommend the Stetson Bozeman. I bought one for doing chores, gave it a couple of coats of Scotch Guard and it keeps me pretty dry on days like today.
I beg to dream and differ from the hollow lies
