Teanaway muzzleloader cow tag
« on: September 24, 2023, 04:57:41 PM »
My hunting partner drew a muzzleloader cow tag this year for the Teanaway unit. We are familiar with the unit and with the low elk density. We will be out burning boot leather but he would really like to get some elk meat in the freezer so if there’s anyone on here that lives or owns property in the unit and doesn’t have the tag but gets annoyed with the cows  tearing up their fences or eating their flowerbeds let me know. If you want meat, firewood, whiskey, etc. for access fee for harvesting a cow name your price. Thanks

Cool thanks. I will try to run up there and see if I can’t catch him this next week and if not definitely look into the other places you mentioned.

Spent all last week up there and there are 2 bulls moving around 6 cows in the Yellow Hill area. Followed them around for 3 days. Wind is very unpredictable, and terrain is steep and crunchy. Good luck.

I live off the North Fork, but I also drew the ML cow tag this year! I’m happy to help with the pack out after I fill my tag. I have half a dozen cameras in the unit and have a couple small herds targeted. So, long story short, I will tell you where they are after opening morning (I hope).
