Heck sometimes they try to charge you the $10 even when you've reported   They tried that on my daughter a few years ago. Unfortunately for them and fortunately for us, I save all the confirmation numbers of the reports 

Did you get out of paying the $10? I sent them the confirmation number once & was told tough luck for you. Pay the fine or don’t hunt this year. That’s when I really started hunting out of state & I never hunted in Washington again.

I did. I forwarded the licensing gal the confirmation email of her report and they fixed it.

This is an old topic but if you are logged onto your account when reporting...you can see your submitted report in your history.  Easiest way to do it vs trying to save your confirmation numbers.  If it ever comes into question it's right there on your log in.
