GMU 111 Alladin Moose
« on: October 14, 2023, 06:56:49 PM »
Hi, I was one of the lucky ones to draw the GMU 111 any antlered moose tag.  After spending the summer scouting and messaging a couple of previous tag holders on here, I thought I had a pretty good plan.
Unfortunately after hunting over here for the last 2 weeks I have yet to see a moose, finding old sign, but nothing fresh.
I talked to the other 2 tag holders today and one had seen 2 cow moose and the other has not seen anything either.
If anyone on here has any other suggestions or saw any today for the deer opener, we would be much appreciative.
Thank you.

Cover ground, lots of ground from daylight until dark!  Don’t give up on calling seems like things are late this year rut wise.  Be in good feeding areas at first and last lite and glass.

I’ve covered many miles in GMU 111.  Mostly focused on South Central region.   I too have not found much fresh moose sign.  Seems like game is down low.  Starting to feel the pressure of time to fill my tag. Any advice is greatly appreciated.  TIA
