Youth Hunt GMU 124
« on: October 17, 2023, 11:49:31 AM »
I am taking my 11 yo daughter on her first deer hunt this weekend and am humbly asking if someone could point us in the right direction. I think her best bet would be GMU124 as it allows her an opportunity to shoot a doe, and we purchased an IEP permit. I had planned on scouting the area myself, but we live about 6 hours away and due to work and my hunts, I have failed to put boots on the ground in the area. She is a very proficient hiker and has no problem getting off the road a good distance. Thanks in advance and I would be happy to return the favor if anyone could use some direction on the west side.

If you have an IP pass like you said and you are set on 124 and are just looking for a doe, just drive Thompson Creek until you see something that looks good and hunt it.
