Olympia commission meeting thread
« on: October 28, 2023, 11:19:22 AM »
I want to say thank you to everyone who showed up to Olympia or helped spread the word. Whether you spoke, attended in person or watched online, or helped spread the word, thank you. WE MADE HISTORY. Public comment went on for four hours and that HAS NEVER happened at a commission meeting before. We showed up so much on Friday that they had to put us into two rooms. We drowned out the antis so much that they wouldn't come out when their names were called and only came out when hunters went back to their seats. Washington Wildlife First knew that we'd been watching them and just how crazy they are that they had to act like they weren't anti-hunting and didn't see anything wrong. The antis and Lorna were wearing masks and my god they were mainly skin and bones. Their faces were beat red. We presented the petition to stop the preservation policy to the commission and they were shocked. They were not expecting it. Department staff and commissioners thanked us for showing up and said we did a good job.

Rowland, Lehmkul and Smith were shocked by just how observant we are and that we are getting involved. It was so fun to sit next to everyone, we were showing text messages back and forth, groaning at antis and their were some times where we laughed. The commentary was hilarious and one commissioner fell asleep. Guys who were in-person know what I'm talking about and it was so funny I had to leave the room before I burst out laughing. It was great, we made history and good things are coming. As I write this, I hope the wolf petition will be denied. We had way better of a showing on Saturday than I expected. I also have a special announcement to make. We will be doing an event with Sportsmen's Alliance on January 11th at Puyallup fairgrounds. This will be a massive event with an auction and silent auction. Expect more details in the coming days. So proud to fight alongside everyone, more great stuff is coming.

The condition has voted no on the wolf petition in a 6-3 vote. Thank you all so much who spoke and showed up. The vote could’ve gone differently. A good weekend for Hunter’s overall. Massive wins for hunters, anglers, ranchers and the wildlife of our state. Great job, everyone!!

Got this link from Howl just now from the meeting. This really shows how they are back pedaling.

Lorna said in the video she wished they could get through a meeting without Spring Bear coming up.

Well she needs to hear about Spring Bear every meeting.
