After years in putting in for goat here and other states, then going with Alpinegus on his hunt last year. I couldn't take it anymore. I booked a trip with an outfitter in Northern BC. I have spoke with this guy several times at both Puyallup and Portland shows, looked at tons of outfitters and decided, probably 2010.
Then 2 weeks ago this outfitter calls (a couple of days after I get a no go from Idaho) and tells me he has one spot left for this year and will knock $2200 off if I'm in. After a week of beating my head on the wall, I called him up and told him to book it.
Its in the middle of Sept for 10 days, float plane into a lake and bivy in from there.

Tell what you guys think................. if its good  :chuckle: :chuckle:
this was a big chunk of change for me, I'm a tight ass.  ;)

Do you plan on shooting a bear?  and What is the Trophy quality of the goats?   :dunno:

Sounds like fun!  If you feel its worth it than it is.  It really doesnt matter what other people think.

Sounds like a great trip. I would love to hunt goats. Tons of bear in BC. Start the workout program.

There are some real good deals on guided hunts this year. I got over $2000 of my Utah elk hunt this year.

Outstanding Shooter, you have a couple months to plan out that full body mount in rocks with Charlie ;)
