Wyoming whitetail
« on: November 03, 2023, 11:24:51 AM »
I will be heading back to Wyoming with my old man to hunt whitetail in region C for the first time this year. The original plan was to hunt mule deer in October. I had a really solid plan and had put a ton of effort into it. But Dad drew his quality bull tag so we were unable to get back there. We were chasing elk here during the mule deer season. I have been E scouting like crazy trying to come up with a good whitetail plan. The reason for this post is to see if anyone has hunted whitetail in region C and had any insight. Do you know of any good trespass fee ranches or any area that would be better to focus on. My understanding is whitetail numbers are down. So my expectations are set pretty low. All in all I’m content just getting the time in with the old man. Shooting a couple decent bucks will be a bonus. Thanks in advance for any help.
