hole in the fence
« on: November 11, 2023, 09:13:44 PM »
There is a hole in the fence between the neighbor's place and ours. I have been watching the traffic that is frequenting the next door. It's a vacant house. Pretty amazing they have figured out that no ones home and a safe place to get away from any pressure.

And they did this last year also.
I put a fresh card in the camera on the 7th and pulled it on the 11th and had 47 photos of various deer going back and forth thru the hole. Several different sizes of bucks.

Put a fresh card in the camera yesterday and the buck had made several trips back and forth during the night.

  I’ve been throwing cams up in random spots, good looking trail crossing a road.. or some good rubs... pulled most for the winter but can’t stand them not being used and taking possible pics of an unknown. So I’ll throw em up wherever for a week or 2. I’ll probably forget some or get some taken.. the last 3 have been way to close to a road but only left em for a week.

My cameras are starting to get buys with bucks.  I think the rut was later than usual this year.  This cold weather has got them going now.
