Contradicting whitetail season
« on: November 23, 2023, 03:14:05 PM »
I just finished a weekend of hunting in 243.  I could have shot two nice whitetail bucks well within bow range yesterday.  I didn't because the regs I downloaded had the whitetail hunt starting on the 23rd (today).  When I told me buddy about it, he swore it opened on the 22nd.  I was sure, so I showed him the regs on my phone.  Point proven!  Then, he showed me the eregs he had and sure enough, his said the season opened yesterday.
Did I miss an update somewhere?  Pretty frustrating as I had to come home for Thanksgiving and won't have time to return.  I feel like it cost me a nice whitetail buck.  I've attached photos of the regs....both 2023 regs with the same gals on it with a deer.

How does one get the updates?

I get all the calm fishing stuff, never have gotten a hunting update.

Go to their website and download the regs. Good habit to get in to, there are often times several updates.  The e-regs are supposed to be kept updated real-time if you use that.

Didn’t they screw up the late archery dates last year too? What a mess
