ya and with the total quota system some areas like klick for example got closed in a matter of days! no way should guys without dogs be eligable for this, it happens enough as it is

hound hunting for cougars would be awesome!!! but i will never put in because i do not want to rely on somebody and their expensive dogs, they should get to do it for themselves!! or make a pretty penny running your dogs for the non hound owner... but i still dont agree with the opening to non hound owners.


by the way i would love to tag along on a lion hunt with hounds sometime (hint hint)

Fred, Houndhunter, Adnahoundsman, others - thanks for the input on educating us on what this all meant.  I didn't understand it when it was posted, but now have my arms wrapped around the situation.

Fred - If you ever need an extra body to go along to tree a cat for practice or to pack one out, please don't hesitate to shoot me a line.  I would love to watch the process in action, and see a cat up close in a tree.

Your more then welcome to come anytime.....if I ever draw again.  Problem with the drawing system is your dogs can't sit around for two or three years (or more) in-between you drawing and still be worth a dang.
