I bought a cheap quick disconnect for my Harris and put a rail on my rifle. I then bought a knockoff shorter bipod from Amazon and can slap one on in seconds for prone or sitting heights or shoot it off my pack with none.

I have the spartan and really like it. I’ve always had a Harris attached to the sling stud That said I rarely use a bipod while hunting when actually taking the shot. Seems like there’s always a stump, tree branch or pickup hood that I end up using. My logic on the sparten is if I’m going to lug around the extra weight of a bipod I don’t use why not have the lightest one availabe and have it out of the way Probably doesn’t make the most sense but to each there own I did just get a few more adaptors from Christensen’s Black Friday sale.
I also ordered a bog death grip tripod from Cabelas Black Friday and this thing is huge. Seems sturdy enough but heavy and bulky. Definitely won’t be packing this thing around. Contemplating returning it

I just seen Magpul sells a light weight bipod.
Not sure if it's plastic junk,or a diamond in the ruff.
I don't own one.....yet.
Looks like you can attach it ,in whatever way you order it.

You might consider ditching the front sling stud and going with a pic rail like this...
https://www.salmonriversolutions.com/product/srs-universal-pic-rail/
There are a lot of really good options for quick attach bipods with pic rail attachment from really cheap to really expensive.
If you plan to also use a tripod SRS also makes several options for arca mounts. I really like their stuff and I love the fact they are making them in the NorthWest!

Ive done harris and harris clones, the caldwell carbon fiber. Im in the spartan standard height right now and its great. Looking at dollars per ounce its the best bang for the buck. You can get a lot more adjustment out of the gunwerks but its twice the cost and weighs a good bit more depending on which model of spartan you use.
I think the way to go for variations in hunts and set ups is to buy a standard spartan and add the tac legs after. You are still saving money vs buying the full TAC and you get a super ultralight option and an adjustable option.
Keep in mind bipods this light are now made for thousand yard consistency, youll be steadier with something heavier; same for the gun.

I used components from ESSTAC in stanwood and made a holster for my spartan that hangs off the passenger side of my butt stock. takes about 30# of pressure to rip it out but i can have it on the gun pretty quick and it's not in the way.

Snipe-pod is my choice. Very small adapters that attach to the gun, and very quick on and off. You can buy multiple adapters for any gun you wish, then use the same set of sticks. For coyotes, they are 2nd to none due to their ability to pivot and use on uneven ground

+1 for the Spartan Javelin. Recently started using it, quick & easy on/off, and like the idea that with several mounts it can go on about any rifle I own.
I don't like hunting with one attached but can keep it in my bino harness or a pack in case the right scenario or long-range shot comes into play with minimal weight penalty. I like to run a safari-sling (boonie packer) so leaving anything else up front is just clunky.
Slick-looking holster there, I may have to look into that at some point.
