Really windy all night last night. No cats showed up.

Maybe I missed it, but are those rib cages and parts staked down? I am really surprised  they haven't drug them to somewhere with a little more cover.

They are not. They are picked pretty clean. I stuffed a frozen block of my trimmings from butchering the elk, fat and silver skin into the rib cage and then stuffed the lower leg bones and hooves through the ribs trapping the meat inside making it tough to get out. Once it thaws it just loose scraps so you can’t grab it and run away with it all at once.

I agree with you on the two, they appear to be smaller, probably yearlings. The lone cat looks more like a female to me, possibly the mother, possible a young tom, but toms are longer than females and that adult cat doesn't look long enough to me to be an adult male. You will probably never know for sure!

I really appreciate your input Dale. I just hope I can kill one of these cats and hopefully that will help connect the dots.

I should also say I appreciate all the input on this thread and the PM’s I’ve received. These cats are driving me nuts.
