I saw a spike a couple weeks ago that was broken off on both sides like that.

Watched this guy all season. Looked like a good looking young 2x2 starting eyeguards. When the rut kicked in one night he walked through. Shortly after a new big 2 point showed up on camera for first time all year. Later that night the original smaller 2 came back through broken on one side. I don't see broken blacktails very often.
