First time applying for POW Spring Bear 2025 Jan 1-June30

One of my favorite hunts! Used to be a regular on POW. Lack of ferry service and increasing costs has made it a bit more difficult, but still an awesome place.

First time applying for POW Spring Bear 2025 Jan 1-June30

One of my favorite hunts! Used to be a regular on POW. Lack of ferry service and increasing costs has made it a bit more difficult, but still an awesome place.

I presume May/June are the best months to go if successful with the draw? Rough idea is rent a cabin and vehicle on the island. Find some freezer space somewhere so if I get one down can bone it out freeze it and bring it home to process. Have hunted Deer several times in SE AK just never been to POW.
