MCARBO upgrades to PMR30
« on: May 03, 2021, 08:57:54 AM »
I know there are quite a few KelTec PMR30 owners here.  Have any of you added/installed any of the MCARBO aftermarket parts for your PMR's like the SS feed ramp, adj. trigger, recoil spring, or enhanced mag release to your PMR30's?

I keep my mags loaded to 26-27rnds and it runs fine and all things considered I always felt the trigger in these things was pretty good but I stumbled upon this MCARBO place when I was sourcing a spring to lower the excessive trigger pull in my buddies S&W Sigma and I ended up ordering their "all in one bundle" kit so I guess only time will tell if it was worth it.

You don't have to buy the whole kit they sell all the different pieces separately.  Was curious if anyone has modified their PMR's or are y'all just running them stock.

Noticed their site today since I was looking for new fiber optics pipes.  I would be interested in possibly buying the ss ramp.  I think the stock trigger works pretty well.  I have also installed new textured grip tape on mine and have also installed the tandemkross maverick bumpers.  I did buy a Burris Fast fire 3 for it and the rail from tandemkross but the sight is too heavy for the slide to operate properly.

Just came across this. Did you end up installing the all in one kit? How did that turn out? Is it worth it?

I ordered and received my kit but haven't had the time to install it

The best “mod” I did was get PTFE grease, then it started running smooth and I even got a green dot on a rail and it’s still cycling

I can’t remember the optic I’m running, it’s ultra light with a green reticle

Popped a bunch of grouse with it

I’ll have to try that

The down side is it’ll collect dust and crap, but I ran a whole season with it in a chest rig from GFI and no ftf’s, so not a big deal to clean it once a year

YMMV
