I'd like to see their evidence of "unsustainable population declines"

They don't care about Hunter's. Never have.
I know it's hard to get conservatives 100 percent on the same page but this should be the year of no purchase protest. 10-15 percent of the budget isn't much but it's s start.

Getting to the point people are just ok with table scraps.... just want to hunt. Family tradition etc...i get it... but something has to give.

Eastside elk for sure and soon, deer won't be far behind. Just chip away in the name of "conservation"

Unsustainable cougar and bear populations my rear. It may well come to unsustainable ungulates population if predator population is not reduced. Just another tactic by antics. I can see predator population coming to a point of the non reporting of them being killed. Most assuredly nothing good for the hunters will come out of this.

Not everyone is losing opportunity.

https://www.newsbreak.com/news/3278411396419-yakamas-to-have-first-ceremonial-elk-hunt-on-eastern-washington-mountain-in-80-years?_f=app_share&s=a3&share_destination_id=MjE2OTk4NjY0LTE3MDM2OTM0NjI0NzE%3D&pd=0EgVGST4&hl=en_US&send_time=1703693462&actBtn=floatShareButton&trans_data=%7B%22platform%22%3A1%2C%22cv%22%3A%2223.51.0%22%2C%22languages%22%3A%22en%22%7D
more jerky for sale! But at least the yakamas can post their kills on here and get praise.
With uncontrolled wolves and cats, it probably won't last long unless they get to hunt farms and golf courses. In the lewis and Clark journals, not a lot of game, just predators, until they got to the ocean.
