Maybe DFW brass and bios should speak out publicly then and make it known the commission has gone rouge, making decisions that go against true conservation and management goals.

I agree.....however they won’t.  There is such a fear put into WDFW staff. they will not stand up.  In 24+ years being employed by WDFW and many “time to stand up and speak up” situations the tough talk quickly would stop and employees get right back in line sucking their thumb and holding the security blanket.  The few that have stood up, including myself get there arises kicked.  This agency is corrupt to its core.  Many top brass protect the corruption.  I always go back to the jab, the ones still employed had an opportunity to stand for something against their own body and caved.  Hate to say it but,  there is not much more important things to stand against.  I’ll never forget one of the last big zoom mtgs. I was on, employees were standing up and handing management their arses over the jab.  They were pissed.  Well many had a stern talking to and the meetings mysteriously stopped.  Not trying to relive history just using it as an example of how the chit show operates behind the scenes.  This state is screwed.....officially.

Take this for what it's worth.

Do you have a link for that?

When spring bear was being discussed they said that the state carnivore biologist didn’t have enough data to provide population information. Now they are saying that populations are declining? That’s opposite what the state bio said but we didn’t have the info right?  All of a sudden we have information on it? Where is it? Why was it not shared with the state? 50 “carnivore” biologists lol. Maybe we should hire a bio as was suggested by the commission to show that populations are growing unsustainably and need culled.
A question to ask is where did the data come from if you didn’t have it originally?

Exactly, where is this data really coming from. IMO, you can’t get more corrupt than what we have now as far as folks who we are supposed to look to for taking care of our “fish and game”. My opinion. My statement of “ we no longer have a Game Department “ is an understatement! We have a “group” who coddles the liberal agenda, they bow down to those who pump money into those officials who pull the strings. SHAMEFUL! I’m sorry for the rants. This is a joke , they know it is and they know we know it is. We are being railroaded. Period!

Once again, sorry, this is the beginning of the end of hunting in this state!

WDFW won't get much money from me next year if any.

Unbelievable.   We need a new governor and commission asap.  Sadly the voters of this state have their heads so far up their rear that they won't get it.

I notice that the petition has a draft revision for the WACs. If the commission passes that draft as is, that would be a blank check for outside entitys to think they can write WACs as they please.

Yes it is. I hope Lorna and all her friends can stand tall and proud after they decimate our deer and elk herds. What an accomplishment it will be for our game commission to watch our once healthy herd numbers plummet just like they want them too. Their plan is falling right into place. What isn’t killed by bears, cougars and wolves will be poached when they take our general deer and elk tags away. All you Natives on here should be just as fired up about this crap and trying to stop it. Your take of non existent herds will be 0 just like us. You need to fight so your kids as well as ours have the opportunity to continue our heritage. We are all minorities in Washington now(apparently only 3% in washington hunt)and they are discriminating against us based on our ancestral hunting heritage. HLM Hunters Lives Matter. Maybe we need to take over some government buildings or burn some cars to get some support  :dunno:

If I win the lottery, maybe I ought to invest 100 million in getting environmentalists to propose to shutdown recreational sport fishing in Washington.

The only way getting hunting seasons back is when the commission goes hard after recreational sport fishing so the elected liberals and voters can wake up and realize how important hunting and fishing really is to the western culture and economy. Guaranteed there would be a big fuss if they can’t break out their $1000 fly fishing setups and fish.

That's how it was when inslee shut down fishing and hunting for COVID. It got opened back up quick.
