Bow Hunting Partner for Sept. 2nd-Sept. 7th
« on: June 11, 2009, 10:27:37 AM »
I figured it wasn't too early to start planning for September.
I just requested the time off from work and this will be my first real BOW hunting trip.
I have 3 areas that I'm scouting right now and a couple I am interested in.
But i was wondering if anyone else is looking for a partner for the bow opener.
My dad and brother don't bow hunt yet and not sure if they will tag along with me.
Eastside or Westside is fine with me.
PM me if you're interested. :cmp1:

I am kind of curious, if you plan your first real bow hunting trip, why not include elk?

I bought my very first bow a few weeks ago and have my work cut out for me this summer. I may try to hunt elk but wont if I'm not going to be ready.  I will probably need a partner.

That clears it up (my question) Good Luck! I plan my trips for elk because deer are statewide and everywhere. I kinda relate them to rabbits because I just hunt for meat (Trad Archery) I hope to get a trophy someday, but anything I get with a 50 year old recurve and cedar arrows is a trophy to me. :archer: :cmp1:
