Fostering Young Hunting Dog Available For Adoption
« on: January 22, 2024, 12:24:26 PM »
I'm fostering a beautiful hunting dog for Paws and Claws. She's available for adoption. She's almost 2 years old. She loves to train. I'm training her to track. She's very high energy. We hike trails for hours. She can handle difficult terrain.  She listens and follows commands. She's a Blue Heeler, Pointer mix. After working with her for 2 months I think she could be a great companion for a hunter. She is gifted. She's intelligent. I hide treats and toys around the house. She will search until she finds everything. She will also hide things herself when she gets bored, wait a little while and then go search for them. She has a good work ethic. She has great athletic stamina. I created an elaborate obstacle course for her in my basement. She loves it. She likes doing things that are both physically and mentally challenging. She has a high prey drive. I would love to see her go to a good home that meets her need to be challenged physically and mentally. Her name is Brownie.
