It will be interesting to see if the special draw random has better odds this year due to price increase chasing folks away.

Indeed. I’m speculating there will be more people putting in for special than people think. A lot of guys don’t mind the extra cost if they think there odds are better for shaving off a few years of waiting. I wouldn’t be shocked if a higher percentage put in for special.

A buddy and I are in for elk with a 6 point average. Never been there for elk. Looking at a new never been to before area. Pretty excited!
