Halibut fishing
«
on:

We are now booking for the up coming halibut season. If there's enough interest it would be fun to do a hunt WA trip this year. We had a couple guys fish with us last year. The wdfg has given us a much more favorable fishing schedule this year. Below is the halibut fishing dates for the marine areas 3 and 4, which is where we fish.
Hunt Washington trip will be June 1st for those interested. Price for this trip is $400 per person.
Halibut dates
May 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, 16, 17, 18, 24, 26, 30, 31
June 1, 2, 6, 7, 8, 9, 13, 14, 15, 16, 20, 21, 22, 23, 27, 28, 29, 30

How far are you running out the 1st couple of weeks? Are you using electric reels? Long runs and standard reels in 600' of water are kinda tough on an old dude.

Yes. This is a halibut and bottfish trip. We target halibut and lings first. Depending on the time of day we will try and catch our limit of rockfish after we have our limits of halibut and lingcod.
