Fabarm l4s?
« on: February 09, 2024, 05:36:31 PM »
Does anyone on this forum have one?

I'm seriously considering making a "big boy" purchase on a super nice semi auto upland gun, I'm stuck between a benelli ethos or a fabarm l4s.

I've always had "cheaper" remington or winchester shotguns my whole life and I feel like I'm to the point where I can justify something nice.

I've handled a couple different variations of the ethos shotguns at some local shops, but no one has any fabarms. I like to at least physically look at and handle a shotgun before I commit to ordering one. Most people seem to love em.

Pros and cons? Anyone who has one willing to maybe let me look at one?

Thanks

*edit* skagit arms had a Chesapeake more waterfowl oriented gun, but that's not what I'm looking for. I already have a couple 3.5" magnums for waterfowl and turkey.

Mainly interested in the l4s

The Tulalip Cabelas has a L4S Sporting in the Gun Library.  Not exactly what your looking for.  I believe it has a 30" barrel.  You could at least check out the controls and the general feeling of the gun.  The Fabarms have a quite different feel than the Benellis.  Benellis feel sleek to me.  Fabarms fill your hands more.  Like a Beretta.   I want to say plump but that sounds derogatory.   They are plump in a good way.

The Fabarm Trap combos have a solid reputation among shooters in that circle. I'm sure the LS4 world be a good choice for hunting.
