Garmin WiFi use
« on: February 18, 2024, 08:29:09 AM »
My chartplotter has built in WiFi and I have enabled it. I am wanting to add another screen towards the aft of the boat to better see depth. I have wireless/WiFi screens available and was wondering if they could be used and using the wireless connection could somehow show what was on the chartplotter. Be nice to avoid purchasing another head unit and doing a cable sync.

I think you can use the Active Captain app it’s a IPad or something. As for just a lcd screen I’m not sure.

I found the Active Captain useless for a private fishing vessel.
