Buying new (UTV's)

We are thinking of buying a UTV and wondering if negotiating the price from MSRP is worthwhile or effective on Powersports and equipment similar to vehicles. I know they have a bunch of add-ons like dealer prep fee import fee and a whole bunch of other fees which I will be attempting to negotiate out of the final sale price but are they firm on the msrp?

I think we have narrowed it down to the Kawasaki Teryx 4 or the Yamaha Wolverine X4. Yamaha is definitely nicer and a little larger but also 4 to $6,000 more. I'm pretty sure I can fit the Kawasaki in the back of my truck also. The Yamaha would be pretty tight. Anybody own either of these two and have any reviews?

Years ago we were a part of the Pacific Northwest four wheel drive Association and a couple other Jeeping clubs. Do they have any clubs like that for Side by Sides? Been out of the game of off-roading for almost 15 years now and itching to get back into it.

I bought a new Polaris from All State Powersports in Spokane a few years ago. They did come down on price a little bit and made the warranty deal a little sweeter. Doesn't hurt to ask. You can also ask to have them drop to delivery and set up fees that are added on. I think I saved around $2,000

When buying power sports the deals are on the ones they have had on the showroom floor the longest. Can’t remember all the verbiage on it, but basically the dealer is losing money the longer they sit there, once they get to a certain point they want them gone. So prior year models will be much cheaper than the new ones.

If it’s a popular model they only get so many of it’s hard to get deals on those. Spring is when they are stocking up for the summer sales.

Great time to get a deal on a 23’ especially.

I just bought a new 2023 Skidoo for 3000 off and a new Kawasaki Brute 750 for 2500 off

If you can get a new 2023 its the way to go

Bought my last one in Oregon.  Use it only on my property so didn't need to license   Dealer was cheaper than anyone in WA and of course saved sales tax

Kawasaki has a new SxS coming out in the spring and a couple models in the fall! Look like a really nice machine! Ridge and Ridge XR with 92 and 116 HP!

There are 2023's still floating around and 2024's are starting to show up more so definately a good time to buy. Not too many near me so may have to drive a ways to find one. The biggest limitation is the color. I do not like the baby blue version and that one seems to be the most available for the Wolverine.
