Think of it as having a child Dan-O.   Some excitement up front, a little bit of work, then you wait 9 months.

I bought 2 more in late 2023 and it only took 4 months total, the 3 before that was 8-12 months. Luck of the draw I guess.......

My official wait time started today.  Just had everything officially submitted.  Was told typical times right now are around the 8 month mark, but can be between 6 and 10 months.

Nowhere in your incoherent rambling did you come close to what can be considered a rational thought. Everyone is now dumber having heard it. I award you no points and may God have mercy on your soul.

Finally got my notification today.  So took me almost 13 months.  It would be nice to no what the delay was, but happy it was finally approved.

I've got a nickel from 1964 that says part of it was your active security clearance.

Is it just active security clearances that appear to delay approval, or do past security clearances matter as well?

It's a roll of the dice. However, there is a consistency amongst customers I have that when there's delay, they have or have had a security clearance.  But here's an interesting one for you.

Two customers both active duty. One has a higher level of clearance than the other. Both bought suppressors from me. The one with the lower level bought first but, his came in last. The one with the higher level got approved in a few days. The lower level took a month.

You would think having a Secret Security Clearance would help....   But they probably wonder what you know that they don't know  :dunno:

I would think with all your bigfoot posts yours would have been delayed indefinitely.   :)

Anyone that is dealing with a delay or haven't received a response, and it's been more than eight months should be contacting their Congressman's office.

Finally got the approval on August 21st.  Started the process February 2nd.

It is getting mailed out today, now that the 7 day waiting period is over for notification to my local law enforcement.

Why were you given a 7 day waiting period for an NFA item after it was approved?
