Area 11 March Opener

Anyone fishing the early opener?  Going to head out next weekend to run the boat at a minimum and shake the rust off.  Anyone fish it this early before?

I've never fished it this time of year so I called it early opener..  LOL.  Either way hoping to get out if weather at least cooperates a little

wasn't going to pull my rig out of storage for the more than likely 3 or 4 days of this "season" with touch limits...

Waiting to see what the weather looks like since I have a small open boat. So far it’s not looking that good but keeping my fingers crossed.

Make sure to check the regs fella's, only open 4 days a week and only open for Saturday on the weekend.

I want to get out but the forecast looks like shizz.  Wind from the south at 10kts with gusts to 20kts usually isnt a fun day, lol.

Well there's not much in the sound right now bigger than 4"...
Area's 10-11 are notoriously prime for herring spawn..as well as smelt and sand lance...
