Whats your guy input on the Bergara B14 hunter?Went to my ffl he has one in 6.5 creed more and its from the REMF . Somebody won it and didn't want it . It is all stainless . So i bought it .Weakness i have.

I have a b14 wilderness in 28 nosler that shoots half moa. With anything you get your haters but I think they are great guns

I’ve read nothing but terrible reviews from guys who’ve bought Bergaras the last few years and what’s worse is apparently their customer service has went completely to hell. Lots of stories of 3-6 month wait times to get their rifle back and Bergara telling the owners “There’s nothing wrong with it, shoots fine.”

I bought by b-14 wilderness hunter in .300WM in the fall of 2020 and with a box of federal terminal ascent 200gr it’ll outshoot me every day of the week.

From what I’ve gathered is the last few years they got too big too fast and their quality suffered greatly. Just what I’ve kept up with.

I'd be wary of the consensus on Rokslide. Not saying nothing about Bergara is correct but there is some weird cult of personalities that drive opinion over there.

That’s true to an extent…if it’s not a tikka with a swfa on top or a custom built rifle with a night force on it they don’t get much love on rokslide.

The guys talking about poor customer service is the main thing I was trying to warn the OP of

 have shot a few of them . To me they seem pretty well built. the only problem i have is the 10 day waiting .

I have 2, they don’t shoot with my customs by any means but they beat there sub moa guarantee by a good margin.  More than adequate for all intensive hunting purposes. (Rifles made in the last 3 years)

I had a b-14 HMR and built it into my first competition rifle for PRS. It shot great for a factory rifle, never had any issues with it through the 1800 rounds I put through it. Definite plus that they are built on a 700 foot print so that you can customize them as you want.

I had a B14 hunter in 6.5 creed. It was a great gun and shot well. Basically a more refined Remington 700. They are good to go. Bergara has been an OEM barrel manufacturer for years and they are known for their accuracy.

The two i own are very accurate. As others have said it is basically a 700 action with a sako extractor from the factory.

I have a Bergara Wilderness Terrain in 6.5 Creedmoor. That rifle shoots lights out, butt he only thing I don't like about it is that it's heavy. However, the B-14 Hunter is nearly 2 pounds lighter, so that shouldn't be as big of a problem for you.
